Macrofauna Trail at BNHS Reserve

One of the most overlooked parts of biodiversity is possibly its macro fauna, however, it is also one of the most interesting. All it takes is a close look and you will be drawn into a different world, which has some of the most colorful, unique, and fascinating creatures on the planet. During this trail, one can find a variety of butterflies like the Blue Oakleaf, Great Orange-Tip, stick insects, Praying Mantis, Lynx spiders, Nursery web spider, Spitting spider, Crab spider, Harvestman, Crimson-tailed Marsh Hawk, just to name a few.

Grade: Easy (1–2 km walk)

Reporting: CEC Center, near Film City, Goregaon at 8:00 a.m

Charges: Rs 600/- for BNHS members and Rs 700/- for others.

Cost includes: Entry ticket (if any) and BNHS expertise only.
