Heritage Tree walk

25th April

Heritage Tree walk

Trees have been an integral part of our city, many dating back to the time when Mumbai was Bombay. They have lent their names to places and acted as landmarks for ages. The city has about 318 species of trees, half of which are exotic, brought to the city by the English plant lovers during the early 19th century from other tropical countries. Explore some of the rare and exotic trees and learn their history during this walk.
