We are pleased to announce the upcoming Bird Count at Sanjay Gandhi National Park (SGNP) on 24th November 2024.

The Bird Monitoring Program is scheduled for 24th November 2024 at various locations within SGNP. Each bird monitoring team will consist of a Forest Department staff member, one bird expert (team leader), and volunteers.

We eagerly anticipate your active participation in this important initiative.

Important Note:
Not all volunteers may be accommodated in this survey; however, we will strive to include as many volunteers as possible over time.
BNHS members will be given priority for volunteering for the count.
Please renew your membership if it has expired.
Transects will be assigned by BNHS to the selected participants.
Participants are responsible for reaching their assigned transect's meeting point. The meeting points are listed below:
