Temple Trail at CEC

A recently marked trail at the BNHS Reserve is the temple trails. The trail starts at the CEC near the butterfly garden and ends at the Waghova Temple, which gives the trail its name. End August is usually the perfect time for butterfly species like the Blue Oakleaf, White Orange-Tip, Common Wanderer, Common Emigrant, Common Rose can be seen. Other monsoon flora and fauna that could be seen are Silver Cockscomb, Bengal Dayflower, Graham's Groundsel, Stick Insects, spittlebug, katydid and Tortoise-shell Beetle.

Reporting: CEC Center, near Film City, Goregaon at 8:00 a.m.

Charges: Rs 600/- for BNHS members and Rs 700/- for others.

Cost includes: Entry ticket (if any) and BNHS expertise only.
