Migrant Watch at Nerul

During the winter Mumbai plays host to a plethora of migratory birds. Join us and learn about these bird travellers of the world. The Nerul Wetland is a wonderful site to watch and study cryptic birds like plovers, stints, and sandpipers. Among them are threatened birds like Black-headed Ibis, Painted Stork and Black-tailed Godwit, and waterfowls like Northern Shoveller, Common Teal, Garganey and Northern Pintail. If we are lucky we may sight, both Lesser and Greater Flamingos.

Grade: Easy (1–2 km of easy walk)

Reporting: At 7:15 a.m. at the main gate of Seawood Estates.

Charges: Rs 500/- for members and Rs 600/ for others.
