Malshej Ghat Trail
Situated 154 km away from the hustle and bustle of Mumbai, Malshej Ghat is known for misty hilltops, gushing waterfalls and breathtaking landscapes. Malshej has a good variety of flora and fauna. It is home to Maharashtra’s state animal, the shy Malabar Giant Squirrel.
Grade: Easy (2–3 km of easy walk)
Reporting:
Bus will leave from Dadar T.T. (near Chandu Halwai) at 06:00 a.m.,
Chembur (near Amar Mahal Jn) at 06:20 a.m.,
Thane (Cadbury Junction) at 06:40 a.m. and
Kalyan (Birla College) at 07:10 a.m.
The group will be back by evening.
Charges: Rs. 1,800/- for members, Rs.2,000/- for others.
Cost includes: Transport (ex-Dadar) by bus, Entry ticket (if any) and BNHS expertise only.
