Raptor & Wader Watch at Alibaug

Spend an entire day exploring the area near Alibaug for two difficult to identify groups of birds; in the morning we explore the shore of Revas for waders (shorebirds) and post-lunch we explore around the Kankeshwar hills for raptors (birds of prey). Majestic and inimitable; these birds can be seen soaring through the skies around Kankeshwar Hills. On a good day you could spot raptors like White-bellied Sea-eagle, Oriental Honey-buzzard, White-eyed Buzzard, Common Buzzard, Steppe Eagle, and Greater Spotted Eagle. While at the shore you can spot birds like Slender-billed Gull, Lesser Black-backed Gull, Whiskered Tern, Greater-crested Tern, Pacific Golden Plover, Eurasian Curlew, Caspian Tern, Terek Sandpiper
