Take an enjoyable walk through the moist deciduous forest of Karnala Bird Sanctuary. One can spot residents as well as the migrants like Asian Paradise Flycatcher, Black-naped Monarch, Small Sunbird, Grey-headed Canary-Flycatcher, Asian Brown Flycatcher, Nilgiri Flowerpecker, Rufous and Heart-spotted Woodpecker, White-bellied, Greater Racquet-tailed and Bronzed Drongo, Crested Hawk-eagle, Crested Serpent-eagle, and Golden-fronted Leafbird.

Grade: Easy (2–3 km undulating walk)

Reporting: Bus will leave from Dadar T.T. (near Chandu Halwai) at 06:00 a.m., Chembur (near Diamond Garden) at 06:20 a.m., and Vashi (Vashi Jn) at 06:40 a.m.

The group will be back by late evening (alternately you can catch a ferry from Mandva, you can be dropped at Mani Phata for the same)

Charges: Rs 1,500/- for BNHS members and Rs 1,700/- for others.

Cost includes: Transport, entry ticket, lunch and BNHS expertise only.
