Uncover the ‘Less Known Lovables’


BNHS and children’s author Katie Bagli cordially invite you to the book reading of her latest publication, ‘The Less Known Lovables’

Succeeding the first book ‘The Less Liked Lovables’ from the series Amazing Animal Tales, ‘The Less Known Lovables’ focuses on the lesser known animals living in the sea, underground, flying in the skies or living on the mountains or in  forests.

The highlight of this evening would be a dramatized reading session by members of a children’s reading club.


The Less Known Lovables, with its intriguing short stories, will engross children and adults alike. We would appreciate if you could join us for the event.

Butterfly Stamp Exhibition

In a one of its kind event, the Bombay Natural History Society is providing a platform to it’s twelve year old student member and butterfly enthusiast, Ramprasad Mahurkar to display the butterfly postage stamps from across the globe, collected by him. This unique one day exhibition will be held on July 22, 2016 at the Hornbill House, Mumbai and shall be open to the public from 10:30 am till 7:00 pm. The exhibition will also include articles penned by Ramprasad, he will be sharing his thoughts and his interest in butterflies followed by a talk by ‘Butterflyman of India’ Mr. Isaac Kehimkar.
